JumpStart Africa is the first crowdfunding platform to revolutionize the way the world supports Africa by backing innovative projects developed by African entrepreneurs. Simply put, JumpStart Africa is Africa’s Kickstarter.

In the past two years, there have been more than 50 Kickstarter and Indiegogo projects to help improve African ICT access and/or literacy. Most have successfully raised money within the past year.

A handful of African tech-oriented projects exist on crowdfunding sites like Kickstarter and Indiegogo. More are needed.
