Although the Internet is great for improving education and health, people are naturally drawn to entertainment sites. Africans are no exception. However, despite growing interest and success, empirical evidence suggests that Nigeria’s decentralized movie industry relies more on Facebook than the traditional Web. Still, there is room for growth.
